American Grown Flowers Month
Since 2017, Congress has passed a resolution designating July "American Grown Flowers Month," recognizing the economic and cultural impact of America's cut flower and greens farmers. To help spread this important recognition and awareness, Certified American Grown will be working with farmers and retailers across the country on in-store promotion programs to help consumers identify and celebrate our homegrown blooms all month long.
Look for the Label
Launched in 2015, Certified American Grown has quickly become the most prolific and widely recognized origin-based label in floral departments and retail coolers across the country. More and more farms continue to adopt this third-party certification as a badge of pride, guaranteeing that the flowers found in a bouquet or bunch were grown and assembled here in the United States. Working with the amazing team at Where Food Comes From, our third-party certification is the only source verification program of its kind in the floral industry.
The Certified American Grown logo helps our farms differentiate their flowers in the market and appeals to consumers who would prefer to buy homegrown blooms.
Don't see the label - ask your floral source for it, be they a supermarket, your florist or event designer!
